I think maybe that, the extra movement, extra size, a combination of all. I know my buddy kicked my butt bad one day fishing a big TRD behind me in November a few years ago. After that, I tried some in the same areas I normally fish regular TRDs and got a lot more bites. Interestingly enough, they often won't eat a shakyhead in the same spots 🤷

Do you just fish them slow off of the bottom or hop them?

It's very slow off the bottom, the swim/shake/glide Midwest Finesse retrieve.

Haha, guess I should have googled TRD bait! I was expecting another way to rig something.
