Okay Daiwa, your customers have a variety of hand sizes.  The knobs currently offered are too small.  Provide an additional set of larger size handle knobs with each reel.  They cost pennies to manufacture.  They are easy to change.  No more slip on grips.  It’s a good thing for business.  Just saying.

 

Anyone agree?

I apologize in advance since I don't own any Daiwa reels, but you get the idea. Some of the reels below came with Shimano's small Septon handle knobs and immediately replaced with a larger knob or the whole 90MM handle assembly that came with Bantam XG, Curado K, and Etc. IMO, It's the most comfortable/perfect size handle knobs out of all Shimano's offerings.

 

Maybe Daiwa will take notice and offer some options in the future?

All manufacturers can be included in this. Love the handles on my zillion hd's. I've put big knobs on my flipping reels and no longer have an open wound on my index knuckle from March till December. Wish all my reels had em.

I'll take care of my own handles, thanks.  

 

I don't want an I-shaped rubber (heavy) knob on a heavy handle, I don't want Daiwa raising the price trying to guess what I want.

I would much rather Daiwa offer the standard depth spool spinning reels USDM - the D models require way too much line to fill IMO. They have the standard depth reels JDM, why not offer them here?

I like the size of the factory Daiwa knobs. I ditched the big knobs that came on my Zillion HD the day I received it.

They don’t even give you oil so I’m guessing this isn’t happening lol.

I just use the reels.  I have never ever thought the knob felt weird or small.

I have larger hands and don't really have an issue to be honest.
