Rattletrap Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Is there a place online that I can order some bearings for my MT-2 Mega Tournament baitcasting reel? All of my normal online parts stores do not list Bass Pro Shop reels. Quote
NEBassMan Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 i think for BPS reels, you're going to have to go back to BPS. and even then, i'm not sure if you can just get parts for it to fix yourself. you may have to leave it with them. good luck. Jason Quote
Bud Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 That is the big problem with BP reels. You have to go back to them for service. Quote
Guest DavidGreen Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 rattletrap, You might try contacting Outdoor World Rod & Reel Repair. 417.873.5274 Good Luck.. Tight Lines!!! Quote
HomersTomaco Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 you can just measure the bearings and order them from a bearing company. However and good quality bearing will cost double what you paid that reel. mktrout Quote
Papa_Tom Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 I concur, sir. Go to a power transmission store (Kaman Industrial, King Bearings, Motion Industries) and get the bearing you want. They usually have someone in there that can reference items for you if you'll take in your current bearings. Three dimensions and what grade of shielded bearing you want should do it. And I also agree, you may, or may not, decide it is cost prohibitive for your reels. Quote
castaway Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 If you measure them, most likely you can find the bearing size here. http://www.vxb.com/page/bearings/CTGY/Fishing-Reel-Bearings Ivan Quote
