I find the new Zodias reminds me of the gen 1 Poison adrena and they feel the same to me. As for expride they just don’t feel right in hand to me and I feel they are over hyped. I’ve also noticed locally the resale value isn’t there compared to Megabass rods. That’s local used markets out here that is. That's good to know. I like my Zodias, and have been tempted to try an Expride, but they just don't feel right in my hand either, so I keep holding off. I guess more expensive isn't always better. Not for everyone anyway. Different people have different likes. 1 Quote

I got the rod today....man this thing is rated heavy but it is super lightweight and it looks like a medium power rod. I'm blown away that this is actually a heavy rated rod. The fit and finish is perfect, tomorrow morning I will do a little test run with it but it's really impressive on first look 3 Quote

As there's no industry standard, rod power is sooooo subjective. St Croix taught us that eh?? Quote

I guess in a lot of cases higher quality blanks = the ability to keep the blank really thin, regardless of the power rating it has Quote
