Super User Raul Posted August 25, 2007 Super User Posted August 25, 2007 Got a rod to cast the Slab ? My man, no bait is good if you don 't have a rod to cast it. Quote
moby bass Posted August 25, 2007 Posted August 25, 2007 Never had any luck on any Storm swim baits. Quote
Super User .dsaavedra. Posted August 25, 2007 Author Super User Posted August 25, 2007 yes i can cast the slab. but my question was about the BAIT not a rod Quote
mattm Posted August 25, 2007 Posted August 25, 2007 I think he was referring to the weight of the bait. If your going to purchase so many heavy lures you need to get heavier rod. You can find a decent one very cheap. Probably would only have to mow 3 lawns. Quote
Super User Gatorbassman Posted August 26, 2007 Super User Posted August 26, 2007 I use the kickin minnow. "Does it catch fish?" ................You bet it does. You can cast the six inch one with a good, long, MH rods. The 10 inch needs a little more rod behind it. What Raul is trying to say is, as you get into the swimbait addiction. It is no fun casting the heavy ones with a rod that isn't made to do so. Quote
Guest avid Posted August 26, 2007 Posted August 26, 2007 i don't think raul needs people to explain his comments. i do think that if dsaavedra wants answers to his questions he should be a little more gracious about accepting whatever replies the members take the time and effort to offer. Quote
