The new website has saved my some money.  It is so bad I have not even tried to order.

To be honest, it's been so long since I was on their website that I have forgotten what it was like before. Maybe that's a good thing.

I'm perplexed, as I'm not a regular customer at TW.

Has it changed since last week?

I only ask because I placed my very first order ever last week and everything was easy to find for me. Certainly no more difficult than any other website. Granted, I knew what I wanted in advance and just typed the keywords into the search and I able to find what I needed.

What's wrong with the site in particular?

Anyone know if they sold the company?

We should buy it !

Change the name even.

Something like

Bait Monkey Fever

Tried to cut to the chase by looking for only 2pc. spinning rods. Found no way to do so. In the past was very easy to do. I don't like it.

I don’t use it often enough to know what it was like before.  I ordered jigs and trailers from them with no issues.  They came yesterday.

I like the new site better and find nothing wrong with it

I typed "2 piece spinning" and got results.

Though I think I might understand what you mean. It would be nice to search all rods and then easily refine by brand, length, pieces, etc

They certainly seem to be trying to go out of business......replacing website to a terrible one, changing their BF sales to an incredibly stupid model.

Nothing last forever, people have a problem leaving good things alone.

I think it’s perfectly navigable.  It’s more inline with other major sites.

‘’try a JDM site if you want a challenge.  I even have those down.   Life is about adjusting to change.

I ordered the other day, and it was shipped out that afternoon. Package will be arriving today....three days total from order to delivery. I can get around ok. BUT I really don't like how they changed the rod info. Some rods you can't even see the model number now. Other than that is ok, but is a little clunky now  where it wasn't before.

to be frank, the Hookup Tackle website is almost painful.  hahah..

for such an online juggernaut, the website is embarrassing.  but I even figured that thing out.  you really have to rely on knowing the lure's name to find it.   search something like, "Wakebait" and it is a bit of a hot mess.  hahahaha..

Sales are def trash. I would usually put smaller items on the family Christmas list and then they would buy them all at once to get free ship + discount. Now, it doesn't really make much sense to buy the sale since without free shipping Amazon's got them beat.

As I responded in another post, Tackle Warehouse lost my business when they had the credit card breech and a bunch of customers got hacked.  They initially denied it and then ultimately admitted it.  I didn’t get hacked but it spooked me away from their site.

This. Between the layout, the sales getting worse and the low shipping costs. I used to do small impulse orders like twice a month. Now? I might order from them a few times a year.

It seems a little less intuitive most likely because of how use to it I was. It isn't so bad that I would start a thread to complain about it but I do prefer the previous version, in a short time I'm sure it'll be a non-issue.

You are all a bunch of whiney ass babies , learn how use the tech in your hands morons , you certainly figured out how to get on here and cry about them updating their website.  It's all the same, super easy to find the stuff you want just look for it , in fact they have even more brands now , so just a take a minute and learn the new interface and grow up mr " their dead to me now " . You sound pathetic

Like @TOXIC, TW lost me when they had the security breech. Getting hacked happens, that wasn't my issue. Their response was inexcusable. They waited several weeks to notify me my card was compromised, even though they knew the day after it happened. Thankfully my CC company was on top of it. Haven't shopped there since.

I started drifting away from them the first time I got hit with their back-order policy...nothing ships until everything backordered is in stock...even when one item is in stock for 4 months, but is waiting for the second item.

Then the data breach - my card co was on top of that.

Now the whole revamp of the site and the crappy sale this year....ya, they've lost a customer.

I have a dispute with 'company X'. Can I post about it here?
While we can empathize with your frustration, the best course of action is deal directly with the company. Escalate it up the ladder, file a grievance with PayPal or Ebay (if they were involved with the transaction). File a mail fraud complaint with the post office. There are other options, but attacking the company in a public forum is not appropriate nor allowed. Such posts will be removed.

It seems I'm a "fascist" for following this policy.  Evil dictator, sure, but "fascist"? I'm offended. :)

So I'll lock it instead.

Moving on....
