First and Foremost,
Happy Veteran's day to all those that served or are serving.  my gratitude has no limits.  THANKS.

i hope you all get to fish.  ME?  i am going with the full HAIL_MARY.  i am filled with fresh gasoline, and will drive up into the mountains to lay eyes on my secret lake.  it's been raining, so i will probably need to punch the 4x4 button on my new truck for the first time.

my wife said, "hey honey, i have plans on Friday w...."

i didnt hear the rest of the sentence because i ran out in the garage and put my fishfinder battery on the charger.  hahaha...

LETS GO!!

Second the thanks to our vets! Laid another in the ground last week.

Good luck on the trip to the mountains and better luck when you get back home! I'm working on my pond and remodeling our bathroom this weekend, so I'll be fishing vicariously through my BR buddies!

I'm off tomorrow, so I intend to have a fishing event at some point. We'll see how it goes.

Had an appointment with my financial planner today or would have been on the Rappahonock River.  My fishing partner is a retired Marine and employed as a civie. He is going to the USMC Ball on Quantico so after a day for him to sober up, we are transitioning to the hot side of Lake Anna where the nuclear plant cooling water is discharged into 3,000 acres of cooling pools.  We’ll be there for pretty much the rest of winter.

What a difference a state makes, I’m trying to find some colder water but there isn’t any yet

Yeah, the river still has some days left before we have to abandon it but my new sponsor SteelShad sent me a bunch of new blade baits and lake Anna is the place to try them out.  I tried them on the river in one of our smallmouth spots and all I got was Mr Whiskers.

It's 60 and cloudy today.  You know where Jake and me are gonna be 😉🎣

Meagan is a true Southern woman and when the weather gets to about 60 or less, she takes serious persuading to get on the boat.

Hey, more fish for me and the boy. 😎

Tight lines and thanks to all who served, with us and no longer with us.  🙏
