I am looking to replace the hooks on my KVD 2.5's simply because the stock hooks suck. They are way too big and break too easily. I want a little smaller but sharper and stronger hooks to replace my stock hooks. TIA

I am constantly seen holding a treble bait hook next to the rack holding the Owner  hooks.  most likely the ST-35 replacement hooks.   I just did it, two days ago.

I think Owner changed the packaging.

If I didn't have to walk out to the garage I'd show you the exact same bait as DB above with a new hook for the same reasons.  I went gamakatsu though.  I like the magic eye round bend hooks.  I keep a pack of 4's and a pack of 6's in the house, usually one of the two is the right size for a hard bait.

While I haven’t tried them all, am currently using and feel good about recommending, Mustad KVD 1X strong 2x short triple grip, Gamakatsu Short Shank Magic Eye and Owner Short Shank ST-35’s; all EWG of course. The 2.5's come stock with #1 size Trebles.  I go UP one on the front and use the stock size on the back.  Do the same size ratio on the 1.5's, Flat-sided & top waters baits as well.

Here's some light reading as to why I roll this way.

Good Luck
