Hey y’all,

Ive posted a couple times about sweet tea on here before. I’ve went through all kinds of the bottled stuff. Yesterday I decided to make my own. I made a half gallon from Luzianne tea bags and I don’t think I’ll have it any other way now. Best part is that I control how much sugar is in mine. The batch I made is only lightly sweetened. Very easy drinking and good flavor 👍🏻👍🏻

My mom has used luzianne as long as I can recall, all the kids on our street growing up would come by and drink it. She uses WAY less sugar nowadays but it’s still pretty good. I like it ultra sweet

I don't drink tea.  I drink coffee.

Coffee > tea

I am not a fan of southern cuisine even though I have lived in VA for 20+ years now but i do like some sweet tea.  Where I grew up it was always unsweetened tea.  My mom used to make sun tea as a kid where she would get some giant jar with a bunch of tea bags in it and sit it outside on a piece of tar paper and let it brew all day in the sun.  Again, unsweetened but it had good flavor.

You got me wanting real tea now… I keep a gallon of Milo’s tea in the fridge. When I make it, I like to put very little sugar in. Just enough to take the bitter out, but not too sweat like McDolands.

I learned about “real” sweet tea when I lived in Florida.  Real sweet tea with have your teeth rotting out before you finish the glass. 😂

Regular tea for me. I drink a glass everyday with dinner. I’ve tried sweet tea and I’m not a fan. I’m not a big sugar person so that probably has a lot to do with it.

If sweet tea had five percent alcohol, I would be passed out drunk by 10:00AM every day.  I can’t live without it.  I do use Splenda now.  It’s not as good but I can’t handle the sugar anymore.

Luzianne + sucralose is how I roll.  I have been drinking a lot of the great value sugar free drink mix lately (generic crystal light).  Its pretty dam good...
