frogtog Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 When, where and how. Never seen one but I have heard of them. : Quote
Lucky Craft Man Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 I have been using them for at least the last 4 years up a Erie on a drop shot rig for Smallmouth. Before you had to directly order them from their website, but I think Cabelas and Gander Mtn. crrries them. They have increaded in popularity and do work quite well. Quote
Ky_Lake_Dude Posted August 26, 2007 Posted August 26, 2007 do they work in places other than the Great Lakes? Quote

bugman Posted August 26, 2007 Posted August 26, 2007 do they work in places other than the Great Lakes? Why not!? Goby's are a major source of food for great lakes smallies. The Goby was introduced to the Great Lakes by ships from overseas dumping balast water. If your lake dose not have a Goby population they might not work as well. That being said I catch many bass on baits that don't look like any bait fish. (i.e. creature baits) Why not give them a try, show the Bass something they have not seen before. Good Luck. Quote

Any bait can work anywhere! It all depends if the fish are feeding! Quote
