Super User Munkin Posted October 21, 2023 Super User Posted October 21, 2023 So I had someone ask me to make them some underspins and I honestly have never really used them. Looking at the Do-It site I am not impressed with their Hering mold. Trying to figure out what to use as far as the underspin wire so I figured I would ask what everyone on here likes as a starting point. Allen Quote
ElGuapo928 Posted October 21, 2023 Posted October 21, 2023 For my money, it’s hard to beat an OG Roadrunner. Not really fond of the long drop wires for the most part. Quote
Super User NorcalBassin Posted October 21, 2023 Super User Posted October 21, 2023 If you're looking at smaller ones for something like a 2.8 or 3.3 Keitech, it's hard to beat the Coolbaits or Dirty Jigs Tactical Bassin underspins. Gamkatsus are also nice and if you're looking for bigger Bladerunners are solid. Quote
Peacedivision Posted October 21, 2023 Posted October 21, 2023 Owner flashy swimmer for weedless. Usually bladerunners for exposed hook since I can buy them locally. Dirty jigs tb 1/8oz for bfs. Quote
Super User MIbassyaker Posted October 21, 2023 Super User Posted October 21, 2023 The roadrunner "horsehead" seems like a good, classic design that has stood up over the years. these days I've been using the coolbaits in open water and owner flashy swimmers for snaggy stuff. Quote
Aaron_H Posted October 22, 2023 Posted October 22, 2023 I like the Fish Head underspins, they get a lot of use inshore for us here. Quote
