Dick’s was taking over from Dick Stack by son Ed. He admitted that he stopped selling firearms because of his view on guns not as a business decision. In the first year from stopping the gun sales Dick’s lost $250 million in sales. And because of the gun sales loss laid off 40,000 employees . This was in an interview on CBS  with Ed Stack Dick’s son.

The Dicks in WLB, NJ has a limited fishing section but the one in Freehold, NJ has a fairly decent fishing section.  It is 20 miles between stores.

I don’t shop there, not even sure I’ve ever been in one. I just think you’re being over the top in your observation.
