I didn't notice that much of a change, then again I don't spend much time on TW unless i'm looking for something the locals don't have. I could still find what I needed. search bar functions are underrated. I wish the local academy would restock the stx38 size two. I've been using the bkk ewg treble and I do like them a lot, but I would like ol'reliable back. TW sells them for like $2 more than what I'm used to paying plus shipping

What I learned from scanning this thread: the bait monkey lives happily inside @NorthernBasser

The monkey runs wild on him, the tackle porn thread is proof 🤣

TW should fix the website because of the potential loss of revenue from him alone 😁

Thankfully the big wigs at TW will notice this sharp decrease in time, and restore the old site.

In almost 30 years of internet experience, I don't recall ever seeing any website revert to its old design. It's more likely to be patched to fix the most blatant errors.

I also don't recall any redesign ever being popular with most of the users. That's not a defense of their design, I think what they have done is a terrible shame.

Bottom line is they had a GREAT website that was perfect in every sense and made is harder/more time-consuming to navigate for the customer. In a time when there's becoming more and more options online to buy your tackle, this doesn't seem like a smart move.

*I meant to edit this to my previous post, not make a new post. I'm done talking about the subject....I think. :thumbsup3:

TW's old grid layout for getting 200 SKUs (colors X size) on a single page was *great*.

If you'll scroll all the down to the bottom of the page you'll find the grid layout. It's a bit different the the old one, but much better than trying to make your choices from the small layout up top.

the new website is terrible.

the rod model numbers like MBR903C etc are not even in the rod chart anymore.

totally awful.

Don't even get me started. Since my last post in here I've found enough issues with that site that I could right a book about them. But I just been letting it go... 😅 Just amazing how they can take a perfect site and make it so bad.

I don't even bother looking anymore - I can get better selection and prices elsewhere.

Ya, ya, people hate it when a website changes.  From Facebook to Amazon to Twitter, we've all seen the complaints everytime the UI changes on a website.

Google seems to be the only site that gradually makes small incremental changes until one day you realize it's completely different than it was a year or two ago.

Anyway, adapt and move on.  But the complaining is done here.
