Trying to find a new short high end 110jr/small cranks Jerkbait rod.......   I've narrowed it down to the MB Destroyer JDM 6'5 110 Stick  and a G. Loomis/Conquest 6'6 Medium Fast that is on sale for a screaming deal...$450.

The Conquest feels amazing, and I can't handle a JDM 110 stick at my local store, not to mention the Conquest is $200 off.   I just want the absolute best 110jr rod I can find to replace my favorite rod I broke yesterday, a Steez 6'3 MH F from the early 2000s.

Never heard anybody use a Conquest for moving baits though, so I figured I'd see if anybody here uses one for those techniques.

I have a conquest 844mbr casting rod that I use for everything, I have thrown full size vision 110 and 110 jr, lipless, 1/4-5/8 oz square bills, walking baits, frogs, Texas rigs, jigs and weightless plastics, chatter baits, tubes. I have used it for everything and it just works, mostly the mbr taper it’s a real jack of all trades but master of none. I think that if you could get a conquest for a good price that you would be happy with it, for reaction baits the sensitivity is a little overkill but you could easily use the rod for other things also. This is my experience of a conquest rod after fishing them for 2 years now.

I have a 904, and it's my favorite swim jig rod and almost always has one tied on.  The conquest is a fun rod to fish and I also got mine on a deal, would definitely do it again.

I've finally found my 110jr +1 rod.  It's a great lure when I work it properly, and the mc days 692 M/F fits the way I like to hit it.  Hope you have the same luck.

any of the MBR taper rods can pretty much be used for everything.

they are the taper that most other manufacturers have been trying to emulate for decades now

they aren't just for bottom contact.
