Favorite fluorocarbon I say and use is berkley vanish 15lb and berkley 100% and  seaguar basic 101 15lb and I use it for swimbaits and swim jigs , I mainly use monofilament for most fishing applications but fluorocarbon excells in some areas and I use a double uniknot with my fluorocarbon and monofilament line as far as braid goes not a fan and never liked it and makes a  cringy sound through my guides , it bothers me , I use vintage gear only so my abu's prefer monofilament finding a fluorocarbon that can cast is a win win on one of my 5 rigs

topwater,

You don't have trouble with FC dragging lures like chug bug/popper types down as you pull after a rest?  FC sinks.  I find mono does not affect the lures' proper action like FC does.

I'm a big fan of Invisx.

I did come into some Seaguar Blue this year....and I have been pleasantly surprised.   Sure glad nobody told me it was saltwater fluoro...lol

I don’t use FC for topwater, I use Suffix Advance Hyper which is a copoly/monofilament.  Apparently less stretch that “standard” mono, which I cannot confirm or refute.  But it does float and I’ve been very happy with it.
