Sylvaneous Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 Are there other companies making lures out of a material like Z-Man's ElaZtech? I LOVE them for jig trailers. Paca Chunks are often torn after 1 fish. The Z-Man craw and GOAT are great trailers and have lasted as long as some jigs I've worn out (chipped head paint, freyed-out weed guard) I'd like a few more color choices. Quote
Super User MIbassyaker Posted September 24, 2023 Super User Posted September 24, 2023 Look up Strike King 3X elaztech. There are still a few baits available in that line, but not as many as there used to be. 1 Quote
waymont Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 Z-Man BatwingZ are great jig trailers Quote
RRocket Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 Rapala has just come out with a similar plastic in their Crush City line. The Freeloader is a dedicated trailer https://blog.rapala.com/news/rapala-introduces-crushcity-soft-baits/ Quote

JackstrawIII Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 XZone lures are very similar. They’re super stretchy. Quote

FrnkNsteen Posted September 25, 2023 Posted September 25, 2023 Terminator used to make some. I think they called them "Snapback" or something like that, but I haven't seen them around for ages. I think Rapala owns Terminator now, so maybe they will offer them as part of the new Crush City line of plastics mentioned above. Quote

The nedzones I fished last fall were durable but not elastomer durable.. savage gear duratech is the closest I’ve found to Zman, the ned minnows are great if your a ned enthusiast like me. Quote

Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted September 25, 2023 Global Moderator Posted September 25, 2023 I have a bunch of the Strike King 3X trailers if you want them. I've had them for over a decade and never use them. 1 Quote
@reelChris Posted September 25, 2023 Posted September 25, 2023 Mule fishing makes their stuff out of a very stretchy plastic, but they're mostly panfish sized except for the jack worm. https://www.mulefishing.com Quote

GetFishorDieTryin Posted September 26, 2023 Posted September 26, 2023 A3 Anglers have a really tough plastic. Its essentially elaztech without salt, which makes it super bouyant. Problem is the majority of their plastics are BFS sized. Quote

They are pretty durable though and catch fish. Quote
