I caught one last week on a blade bait that was the biggest freshwater fish I've ever caught or seen in person.

Absolutely blew my mind, didn't fight nearly as hard I thought it would have.  Thing was easy 3-4ft, 25-50lbs.   Just massive.

Did you take a photo of that thing?

Dang thing wouldn't fit in the net, and while I was trying to fumble around with it besides the boat it freed itself.

I'm going by saltwater rules, I touched the leader, and fish 🤣

It amazes me that I have 8hrs of memory/and 6hrs of batteries for the GoPro, and still seemingly miss so many things that frustrate me.

Ya I can see why a 4 foot blob of scales and sucker mouth wouldn’t fit in a bass net.

I wouldn't have had the heart to kill it, but they're not supposed to be in the lake.   I've seen 2 other huge ones up shallow, tried to snag one like a kid lol.
