Bionicman Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 I was wondering, Ive never used fluorocarbon line but I am going to try it for finesse fishing, what is the best fluorocarbon line you have used? Quote
heathen Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 For me its a toss up between Triple Fish Flouro and BPS Signature Series Flouro Quote
shortbasser Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 I have used Fluorocarbon for a number of years. BPS XPS, Stren, Triplefish, P-line and currently Gamma. The Gamma is the best of all that I have used. Less memory, more limp and easier to cast. Of course it just happens to be the most expensive. . Quote
Deuceu72 Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 I've been using fluro for years..............I'm a bit partial to Seaguar...........Seaguar also makes a new Fluro called Invisxxx that is tough to find right now as it's not available everywhere but it's the best LINE I have ever used. As with Gamma, Seaguar is not cheap. For a spool of 200 yards of 8 lb test, expect to pay about $14.00, but it's worth it to me............ Quote
docav Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 try the new vicious line. doesnt cost as much and works just as good if not better than seagur or any of the others. doug http://www.vicious-fishing.com/vicious%2Dfishing/index.php Quote
Fish Chris Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 Of course I'm a braid guy...... But I do use Seaguar Carbon Pro as a leader material, and it is very abrasion resistant ! I have used 2 lb test for a main line for Crappie too. Of course it was really limp, and casted a 1/32 oz jig great ! .....but then its 2 lb test, so what would one expect ? :-) Peace, Fish Quote
