For me its a toss up between Triple Fish Flouro and BPS Signature Series Flouro

Posted

I have used Fluorocarbon for a number of years. BPS XPS, Stren, Triplefish, P-line and currently Gamma. The Gamma is the best of all that I have used. Less memory, more limp and easier to cast. Of course it just happens to be the most expensive. ;).

I've been using fluro for years..............I'm a bit partial to Seaguar...........Seaguar also makes a new Fluro called Invisxxx that is tough to find right now as it's not available everywhere but it's the best LINE I have ever used. As with Gamma, Seaguar is not cheap. For a spool of 200 yards of 8 lb test, expect to pay about $14.00, but it's worth it to me............

Of course I'm a braid guy...... But I do use Seaguar Carbon Pro as a leader material, and it is very abrasion resistant ! I have used 2 lb test for a main line for Crappie too. Of course it was really limp, and casted a 1/32 oz jig great ! .....but then its 2 lb test, so what would one expect ? :-)

Peace,

Fish
