Hello!

I always been looking up for the US bass fishing and some Japan finesses tho it had come late impact on my life. Fishing is like a drug, I over-use it for 6 month and work (as a chef) and kid seems to overcome it til my abstinence win!
From my experience most of your big fishes act like our northen pikes.. I all into perch and zander grinding. Missing talk about Abu (got a new ALX 3000MSH for 130$ 3weeks ago and LOVE it!) Maybe no one is buying Abu's is the US? Curious.

I know shimano and Diawa has another level as price is above anything Abu sells. Owning now Vanford and two TP and had a stella 3000HGM before.

Hope to make any sens with you here in US. "Skitfiske på er"!

Welcome. Looking forward to hearing about fishing in your country. My only Abu reel is an old Abu Garcia Cardinal 754.

Howdy from Kentucky USA.

I like Abu Garcia baitcasting reels. I like both the round and low pro reels. I learned how to cast on a round one, though I forget the model. Wish I had another one as I've regretted parting with the first for 20 years now.

Sweden? Wow! Abu makes great reels. About 40 years ago, my favorite reel was a SWEDISH-made Abu Cardinal.

I just bought a Vanford, but seriously considered buying an Abu. So glad you're here. Please keep posting and I hope you share some photos too!

Say, on the silly side, what does a real Swedish chef think of the Muppets' Swedish Chef?

From New York State, USA. welcome to Bass Resource. I look forward to hearing of your fishing exploits in Sweden. Does Sweden have any Bass fishing? I know you have many cold water species.....

Wow what a welcome, massive appreciated. I am by no means working as a pro angler (surviving as a chef), hope to make that clear.

Im not a big fan of Abu, just had a good price on that ALX and got in love with it. Im more into 100$ reels (don't want to feel bad if i drop it) and use rest of the money on rod, line and baits. Cheers for Stockholm anyway :)

PS: "MN Fisher", coming from Sweden?

We don't have any bass here. The sport is getting a big perch, cod, Hälleflundra (Halibut?),

salmon or pike. Would like to try get any bass, seems acting as our bigger perch and need the patience with finesse.

Been in north Europe for fishing btw?

Seen +3 kg (+6.6oz) perch in holland from videos, seems crazy. I know bass can be really big.
