Gloomis SJR843 or SJR844?

Fellas,

here is the deal-the bait monkey found me a good deal on 2 Stradic's. I have one on the St. Croix AS70MF and have one sitting here. I want to purchase an IMX for the other one but I am wondering if the SJR843 or SJR844 would be a better fit for the 2500 size Stradic. Would the 843 be a little light for 6 lb Yo-Zuri and throwing flukes, beavers, Ika's, etc?

Thoughts?

I use a 2500 size Stradic mgFA on my SJR843.  Work great with Yo-zuri hybrid ulta soft # 6.  I love the set up.

Bud, how do you like the MG Stradic? I debated that version, luckily the bait monkey didn't make me splurge.

I use the SJR843 and it's a great rod. It is not to light and you will not have any problems casting any of those lures.

The G.Loomis SJR783 is the company's most popular spinning rod as is recommended as THE all-around spinning tackle. I prefer 7" rods and believe you will find the SJR843 perfect in every way.

I use the SJR 843 (7') with a Shimano Stradic 2500.  It's my dream outfit.  One of the best choices I've ever made in fishing tackle.  You won't regret it.

Most of my rods are 6'6 or 6'8.  Get the 7 footer.  You won't regret it.  Lots of sticking and casting power.

Bud, how do you like the MG Stradic  

I was torn between the Sustain and the MG.  I chose the MG and love it.  Their is very little diffewrence between the two.  One being two bearings and a slight smaller spool and about $40 dollors.
