Anyone have a good rod options to a St Criox that won't break the bank?  Any ideas are appreciated

What techniques are you using? What is your budget? You can find the previous model Mojo bass on sale right now, many places online.

If you’re just starting out, try the 7’ Triumph by St Croix. Solid rod for a decent price.

Sounds like you're asking for an option that is NOT a st croix.  If that's right, I'll always plug falcons.  Not sure which price point you're at, but the Finesse jig (6'10", a light MH) is a great rod in that medium power bracket.  Depending on the specific lineup, its either a 1/4-3/4 or a 3/16-5/8 rating.  I have the expert with the 1/4-3/4 rating and I'd suggest to falcon to drop it to a 3/16-5/8 rating (which to me is a perfect medium power rating).  Soft tip, modest backbone.  Light wire single hooks or any trebles are perfect.  Does fine with single hook moving baits of appropriate sizes.

What price point and what are you going to fish with it?

ALX IKOS Buzz, or its slightly more expensive version in the ALX ZOLO Dream.  I have them both, extremely versatile and not as tip heavy as many St. Croix models.

I also have to shout out the biggest surprise that I have had in rods around 100-135 price range is the KastKing Speed Demon rods. I have one of the finese spinning rods and the square bill rod and I would put tbose two rods against any of the Dobyn’s, St.Croix, and TFO rods that I have. Freaking unbelievable for their price. Without a doubt the best reel seat I have ever used on a finesse spinning rod. Top notch guides and reel seat on a great blank and they weigh next to nothing. All the rods are technique specific too. Those rods don’t get enough praise.
