Hi there, looking for some reccomendations for a lithium battery and box for my kayak.  I'm mounting a Minn Kota Trolling motor and have future plans to add a fish finder.  Anyone have any reccomendations.  Thank you Will "from Fancher"

MY advice is go to the Amped website. When I was putting a Minn Kota on my Catch 120 I used the video on the site to buy a battery and watch the video of HOW TO make a box for the battery. A very good tutorial! Good Luck

The key to answering the question(s) are a few things:

  1. How long do you intend to fish on average per day?
  2. What is the trolling motor and intended graph model to install? Is the trolling 12v?
  3. What physical size/weight would you prefer for it (#1 somewhat dictates that)
  4. What budget do you want to stay within (there are low/medium/high costs, again depends on #1).
  5. The box you can do many types of things, but depends on outcome of #3.

I know it was a resuscitated thread, but still good to answer. :)
