I just bought a Garmin 93SV for my Z 20 nitro. I've mounted several transducers on saltwater boats, but never on a bass boat. I'm trying to find a place where there's no interference in front of the transducer. I have attached a photo of the location I have in mind. Anybody have any thoughts?
thanks in advance

The tie down being attached to the jack plate is unusual location.

The ideal location is the flat surface behind the tie down strap. This means using a different design transom saver like MotorMate or My Wedge and use eye bolt hold downs away from the transducer.

@Jig Man Do you get a lot of turbulence and interference there. I guess not or you wouldn't have it there huh.
I assume it's out of the water when you're running on plane?

This is used for down and side scans.  I have a 2d inside the hull.  I haven’t noticed any interference.  It comes out of the water when I get on plane.
