I’m traveling to Orlando area in October for business and want to take an extra day to do some bass fishing. Are there any tips for shore access I can drive to with my rental car and reach some productive water? Would also consider a local guide if not too crazy expensive.

Thanks!

If it was me, I would hire a guide to fish West Lake Toho in Kissimmee.   Toho guides are plentiful and it shouldn't be hard to find a good one.  Make sure you make your expectations known.  You will catch more and larger bass fishing with live shiners.  Success with artificials will depend upon your skill level. Fishing Toho is worth the price.

Just hop skip and jump from Orlando to Lakeland a place called Tenoroc Fish Management Area. Many choice lakes to fish from. Great day trip!
