This has to be the winner. What a spread! I do like Waterloo drinks, and of course bacon..

I wonder if the bacon grease transfers to lures and increases catch rates?

It might... just as important, Megastrike original flavor doesn't clash with the bacon.

Toast-a-chee sammich crackers and Vienna sausages (the hot sauce ones)

I seriously think that’s the only times I eat either of those things but it’s almost like a tradition thing at this point. It’s just what I take

i dont know how many times i have wished a food-boat would drive by yelling, "anyone want a burrito?...$10!!!".

In the spring time here on Mississippi Pool 4, when we get a nice day in March or April, there will be hundreds of boats stacked up near the dam by Red Wing walleye fishing.  I was there a few times years ago and a pontoon had anchored up amongst all the bumper boats selling hot food.  He had a hot dog roller, a small griddle, and a grill all going.  Plus a cooler with cold beverages and a coffee maker.  He was making a killing out there.  Cash only.

When we go to St Clair, we are on Harsens Island with limited options for food, so we stop at a grocery store close to the ferry to stock up on what we need for the week.  Every attendee is responsible for 1 nights dinner and we work in a fish fry if we get into a bunch of walleye or perch and a leftover night usually the night before we leave.  All other meals are up to the individual.  As I said, I pack lunchables and my fishing partner packs those sealed packs of tuna with crackers for lunch and we pack in cases of plain water and propel.  We are usually gone before breakfast and everyone else getting up. Instead of eating granola or protein bars, this year I packed in a 12 pack of frozen Jimmy Dean breakfast sausage and egg biscuits. 2 minutes in the microwave and I had a nice little hot breakfast.  That is until one of my buddies asked if he could have one and I said sure before we left.  We came back at the end of the day and discovered my approval was evidently for everyone and they cleaned me out.?

my friend has since moved to Oregon, but he used to always stop at this Tamale place in my city.   he buys bags of them to hand out on our kayaks.   the place opens at 4:30 AM to load all their food trucks and carts (that head out into neighboring cities).  all the Wine workers line up at 5:00 am to buy food.

i always tell myself to decline a tamale, or two..but i cant.  and there is nothing messier than eating a tamale on a kayak, without utensils.  and there is the husks everywhere.  i just toss them in the back and at end of day, they are dry.  haha...  my PFD is stained from tamale.

Do you bring food with you on fishing trips? If so, what do you bring?

I usually only bring peanut butter crackers and water but am curious to see what others do.

Peanut butter crackers and water for me too.  Though I'll usually throw a tea bag into the water and let it brew so I have tea to drink by the time I'm ready.  I usually eat before I go and eat when I get back, so I don't need a full meal.

@txchaser where do you get the bacon just make it and put it in a bag or do you buy like bacon bits or something lol

Back when I was repping for Jack Links they had a bacon jerky that was really good.  I got to be the Guinea Pig for a lot of their new products because my Brother in Law was a senior executive with them.  He retired and so did my sponsorship.?

Boat fishing I bring water, snacks, apple and a good sandwich’s for me and my partner.

Every bit true.

I may or may not bring food when I fish alone. More often than not, I won't eat any of the food because I am 'too busy fishing'. I have mostly given up sugary drinks, but I do bring water. Sometimes I don't even drink water, or I have to tell myself it's OK to take a break, and I'm usually glad I did and have to admit it probably didn't make or break my fishing success.

As long as I have water, I'll be OK.

Oddly enough, it's actually illegal to eat on a boat in the lakes I typically fish.  I think it's to cut down on littering.  And it's not really something they enforce, or at least I've never heard of anyone getting in trouble for it.  And I do it all of the time.  But it is technically on the books.

Took some searching.  I can’t find the half bug in my wife’s mouth pics.  But here .   The wasp larvae was too much.  Awful.

The longer my daughter and I stayed out, the more we knew we needed to bring food. Now, if I'm going to be out longer than 4-5 hours, I'll bring something. Usually just drinks though.

I started off with sandwiches and jerky. Now I grab my daughter a Lunchable, and I'll bring some cold pizza, or ramen with some breakfast sausage mixed in.
