I think it's gonna be great if you plan to buzz or swim the jig and want it to fall slow and rise fast.

I have used it before when I wanted the bulkiest profile for a jig. Solid black Horny toad on a 1/2oz black jig with a starflash skirt is a big bait that catches big fish. This is not a numbers bait but if you are in an area with bigger fish and looking for a kicker it works.

I've let them sink to the bottom and fish them like a Texas rig.  It will definitely keep the dinks away.

I'll be trying them out on a chatterbait thursday night. I've been finding muskie really shallow at night lately, so I bought some mag shakee blades, and some heavy wire 6/0 hooks to make some upsized baits. I've been getting lots of follows but not many bites on the bucktails in the dark. I'm hoping to change that ratio with big profile chatterbaits. Hopefully get some BIG bass bites on 'em too.
