I will take junebug any time. The only time black/blue works for me is with a jig in murky water. I can't get a bite with black/blue soft plastics on a texas rig.

We have clear water so June bug or black & blue is not a preferred color....... compared to green pumpkin candy, watermelon red and Cola.

Have really no idea but have caught more fish this year on cola " grape " .

June Bug is my favorite . I like to run a chartreuse spike it marker down the back of a june bug worm. It gives it a two tone color. Dont know if it catches  more fish but it works well when pitching to shallow wood. Caught about 50 bass today that way.

This is going to sound weird because black/blue is such a popular, common color, but I think it's the most underrated color in bass fishing. It works well for me in essentially any lure, any water clarity, any condition, for both LMB and SMB. Where others do not consider BB, I absolutely do.

I have a buddy who almost exclusively uses BB...I just can't find the same success. But I do agree. It's not as talked about as maybe it should be

Junebug I like. Black and blue works good but I don't tend to use it a lot because it is popular. I will often go straight black

Black blue is great in crepuscular periods.  Junebug not so much.

Junebug was my favorite. But then tried Twilight (purple and darker purple) on a worm and seemed to be more productive in dirty water.

I used to fish the Ditto Gatortail worm years ago in black/ blue tail. It was a great plastic worm. Now, if given a choice, I'll choose junebug. The Zoom finesse worm in junebug color has been very good.

The Gatortail was an awesome bait.  I caught a bunch of big fish on it.

I do much better with black from October-April.  Once the fish really start to become active is when I really like JB and use it over black, unless maybe its dark.  I dont konw if its just me, but late spring early summer JB seems to produce quality fish consistently.  WIth jigs ive noticed I may not get as many fish using black compared to GP or watermelon, but the fish I do get are usually good size.  So for me it depends what time of year it is as to which color I prefer.  Now, if I had to pick 1 color out of all of them, it would be black.

I like to use black & blue for murky water.  Junebug is for clear water and cloudy days.
