Bazoo Posted July 14, 2024 Author Posted July 14, 2024 I've had some good success lately with the Ozark Trail crankbaits down at the river in the white water below a low head dam. 1 Quote
Bazoo Posted July 14, 2024 Author Posted July 14, 2024 I have been using the Ozark Trails worm hooks with good success. I don't like them as well as Gamakatsu, but I like them much better than the cheap Eagle Claw Hooks. They are sharp, don't rust, and I don't have a problem hooking up. I got this guy on a 1/0 OT hook and a Zoom Fat Albert Grub. 3lb14oz Got him on an OT buzzbait, but with a replaced skirt. 5 Quote

Super User scaleface Posted July 15, 2024 Super User Posted July 15, 2024 I've been using the Ozark Trail 3.0 offset worm hooks . They have performed great. I did bend one trying to remove it from the tough lips of a channel catfish. Quote

Super User bowhunter63 Posted July 15, 2024 Super User Posted July 15, 2024 I caught some on there plopper take off. It’s was the only black one I could find .It works but you got to shake the water out every few casts .i won’t give up on using the choppo but it worked in a pinch Quote
Bazoo Posted July 15, 2024 Author Posted July 15, 2024 I had horrible line twist with their prop bait. You could always spraypaint a choppo if it's your preferred variety. Quote
