Hello guys i am trying to decide between the NRX+873C CRR or the new Daiwa Steez BC2 for my next rod. Which one is better between these two? I need a MH rod for my next setup for bottom contact applications thanks.

Which weights and types of cover are you fishing?

I sold my BC2 after picking up an 873.  I throw 3/8 and 1/2oz jigs on it.

I feel like the Steez AGS 72 Heavy Power Pitch is pretty dead nuts close to the 873 CRR, which tends to the heavy side. Don’t have experience with the BC2 unfortunately, but I LOVE my 72H PP and prefer it to the 873 CRR. I think those two are more of a direct comparison. Perfect for the weight range/baits you’re recommended, also handles 6” magdrafts, spinnerbaits, etc quite well.

The power pitch completely changed my opinion on diawa's higher end offerings.  I wasn't a fan of the BLX 7'2H+.  Very happy I gave them another shot, the PP is my "best" jig rod.
