I cant stop buying crankbaits. The new Strike King Gravel Dawg and the new Berkley Dime have me foaming at the mouth lol. I only kayak fish but I would say I have 5-6 utility boxes full of cranks. I only take 1 double sided box in the yak. Anyone else have an obsession with a specific bait?

Probably more brand then bait.  It you saw my maxscent collection you would think I'm rich.  Worse part I fish the same few baits.

Yeah i probably throw a dt10 the majority of the time and Id say 80% of my cranks haven’t seen water

I used to be a color junky when it came to worms. Took about a year to realize I was the one on the hook, and the fish didn't give a d**n.

I still make the occasional impulse buy, but I'm much better at limiting my purchases to replacing what I actually use.

I've finally stopped buying Bandit 200s and Rapala Crankin Raps. I have a lifetime supply and then some. For me it's more that they are discontinued than anything and there's pickerel and pike where I fish, so losing baits happens.

Rapala DT's are very effective and with the variety of running depths, I have many of them.  They catch everything.

Some very nice finishes, my # 1 is the Iconelli special "Smash."

Always have at least 1 Crank bait tied on but only have (1) 3600 box, mainly 6 sense.

Worms are the problem, I got WORMS.

I order from a local guy 200 worms at a time, 200 of this color and 200 of another color.

I do not like getting low on worms. ?

At first I considered posting some photos of me crankbait accumulation but it dawned on me that might be like a junky showing off their track marks.

Of all the hard baits I have, cranks outnumber all the others combined, even if I count skirted jigs.

I have a box full of each, shallow runners, square bills, med. runners, deep runners and another box of each that are silent.  Add lipless cranks and I have a small fortune tied up in just cranks.  I just picked up some Live Target cranks........just because.

I am addicted to every type of bait except glide baits.  I am terrified of taking even one step down that dangerous road.

@king fisher I'm addicted to cheap glide baits that are on sale ???

I have a lot of them.  Looking forward to the winter this year.

Also addicted to lipless cranks and jerkbaits.  Cold weather hurry up!  My baits want to be loved!

I have tried some glide baits and some big paddle tail swimbaits (IE Magdraft and Cull shad) and i am kind of glad I haven’t had any success because I cant go down that road financially.

I thought the same. Its bad and it shows how fiscally irresponsible I am

Well, when I look at my collection I always wonder why they so rarely get fished.

@Huckfinn38, I'm a crankbait junkie too. Not particularly brand loyal though, I've got them from Megabass down to BPS and Academy house baits. Same thing with jerkbaits and lipless. Numerous 3700 deep boxes full.

I have a ridiculous amount of lures and I'm constantly updating.  Many of my friends tell me I'm crazy and they catch as many fish or more than I do with a fraction of what I have;  however, I frequently observe there a lot of guys who have lure and tackle stashes who make me look like a piker.

The best way to reduce the numbers is fish them, if they don’t catch it goes on sale, keep only the ones that work.

This technique allows you to keep buying to satisfy your love affair plus maintain the number to lures you know work.

That's the best (and only) reason I can think of to buy almost anything made by 'Live Target' ;~)

Be strong my friend. Bait Monkey can strike seemingly out of nowhere. It's almost like Bait Monkey lives in our head and knows our thoughts. Almost.

What’s the best way to sale them if they are in mint condition just in a kit (so squarebills) for  30-40 percent off cost?

Put them in Flea Market!

I got 6x3700 boxes of cranks - but the one box I reach for the most is my lipless.
