College Football

[WVU-SCPA]

4 weeks out from the opening weekend games.  How you feeling about your team/who wins it all/does it impact your fish schedule?

 

Went to WVU but family/co workers are all Penn State fans.  WVU opens at PSU the first Saturday in September which I plan on attending.  The night game should be electric, but I'm not hopeful in the outcome.

 

Predict a 5 win season at best for WVU. Coaching change to follow.

Georgia wins the Natty.

I'll record 2 or 3 games and let everyone know not to give me updates so I can watch it in the evening.

I'm a Buckeye, very interested in seeing how Bama, UGA and Ohio State do with first year quarterbacks. It should be an interesting year nationally, but I can't pick a winner.

 

WVU has a soft spot in my heart, my father's side is from just outside Morgantown and I love WV. I'll be pulling for them vs PSU for sure. 

 

I don't let anything interfere with my college football-including fishing. I watch from noon until I pass out watching the late game. I fish on Sundays.

I would much rather watch college football than the NFL so I'll be pulling for Ohio State even though I'm a fulltime Florida cracker now.

Probably a Gator too…most annoying fans in the known universe..Buckeyes and Gator fans. Shots fired.

 

Interested to see what Colorado does.

I don't follow college football as much as other sports but I know enough about it.  I do follow the local teams here in the Big 10 like Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa all season.

 

Big Ten polls that recently came out indicate that Michigan is expected to win the east and Wisconsin is expected to win the west.  This is the final year that the winner of the east will play the winner of the west in the Big Ten Championship.  Next year they are taking the two best teams overall, regardless of division.  USC and UCLA will also be joining the conference.

@813basstard Born & raised in Ohio always have been & will be a OSU fan. No  interest in the gators but if interested in any Florida team it would be the FSU or the Canes. Glad I annoy you it makes my day.

The most annoying fans are Miami fans. At least they used to be .

Every school has their share of obnoxious fans. 
It won’t be Florida’s year, but they’ll compete, maybe gain a win or two more than last year…

But yes those UM-FSU battles were stuff people can’t understand outside the sunshine state…I mean real deal hatred

I literally grew up on the LSU campus. My Dad was a professor and my Mom was an accountant in the business office. My first game in Tiger Stadium was in 1958 and I also graduated from there.

 

Needless to say I'm a Tiger fan. There is a lot of talent returning but the team is thin in some areas so hopefully the injury bug doesn't hurt them overall.
