LOL I saw they were making a novelty of it on the 4th of July.  Everyone out there in shorts and t shirts skiing down the slopes.  Is the snow still really there?  Hard to imagine given how hot it’s been.

When there’s snow and enough skiers and right now there’s both.

We had an F2 tornado yesterday, I was cutting my moms grass when it hit. I sought shelter in my truck and it nearly levitated . Saw where it touched down on my work route today, looked rough but nobody was killed or injured to my knowledge

Weather patterns here in my parts of PA have been terrible. We went through the tornado watch and warnings again last night between the 6:00-11:00 PM slot. Got torrential rain but didn’t get tornado or the 70-80 mph straight winds in my town. Got windy yes but not big damaging. Have been lucky here more than once the last couple of months.

Love to know who it is exactly that gives the local forecasts.

Seems like every week " TAKE COVER " severe thunderstorms, 70mph winds, golf ball size hail and a possible tornado.

Each time we've gotten a mellow rain of an inch or two.

I'm not complaining but trying to fit 3 vehicles in a 2 - car garage is getting old. ?

At least you can fit a vehicle in your garage...even Bass Trek is a tight squeeze in mine...no way I could put the Silverado in there.

That’s a nice pattern. Keeps the landscape thriving and out of drought.

^ I'm wondering when they're gonna update us....we've had some fairly decent rain lately, but the last update on the Drought Monitor for MN was Aug 3, data as of Aug 1.

It gets updated on Thursday mornings. When they release the update, the data is through the Tuesday prior.

They said last week that it would take us about 6-9 inches of rain before December to get completely out of drought. Honestly if it just doesn’t get worse than it currently is, that would be an accomplishment.

@MN FisherKen, I think we got it back. It was 85 here this morning at 0730. Another day over 100. How is it up your way?

Currently 70 degrees and mostly sunny, with a high of 85 forecasted.  Pretty comfortable out today.  Chance of t-storms overnight later, which is very welcomed given our current drought status.

7-10 day forecast: no extreme heat in sight, mostly average high temps around 80-85 degrees and lows around 60 degrees.

Try that heat index with 95% or more humidity.  I've sprouted gills.

My wife’s uncle is staying with us so we are watching the news this morning drinking coffee. TV says humidity 100% on the weather, he says that means it should be raining hahaha. Well I looked it up on my phone and they were right although it’s not raining……

Looks like the heat dome down south will be drifting north again for a few days. I see several days above 90 degrees again. Barf

I am seeing that parts of California and Nevada will be dealing with a hurricane or tropical storm in the coming days.  Only the second time in 84 years that a storm like this will make landfall in that area.  I'm sure they could use the beneficial rain that comes with it though.

For anyone who wants it,

If there was a good way to send

some of the 37 degrees we had here

this morning you're more than welcome to that noise.
