Global Moderator TnRiver46 Posted December 31, 2023 Global Moderator Posted December 31, 2023 Yes, then you could use the transducer to follow the money from draft kings to referee pockets note they don’t call stuff until the last few drives Quote
Super User gim Posted December 31, 2023 Super User Posted December 31, 2023 I remember years ago when the referees went on strike. The first few weeks there were replacement refs. That was a complete disaster. The first two weeks did not directly affect the outcome of a game, but was close several times. I think in week 3 it came down to a call on MNF between Green Bay and Seattle. I believe it was the infamous "fail mary" and sure enough by week 4 the regular refs were back on the field with a new contract. Quote

Super User gim Posted January 1, 2024 Super User Posted January 1, 2024 Seattle's loss at home to the Steelers today opens the door to a number of other teams. Whoever wins between the Packers/Vikings tonight can also win next week to claim a playoff spot. The Cardinals beating the Eagles in Philly allows for the Cowboys to claim the 2 seed and win the NFC East should they beat Washington next week. Arizona has 4 wins all season. Two of those are against the Cowboys and Eagles. Quote

It was pretty rough, I won't lie. However, After the Bills layed a bunch of eggs (L's) this year, I had to mentally distance my brain and emotions. Too many games my wife tells me - GO OUTSIDE and pace, stop wearing my floors out! LOL. Not so this year. 1 Quote

Super User gim Posted January 8, 2024 Super User Posted January 8, 2024 Josh Allen is his own worst enemy. He single handedly wins or loses games with his gunslinger mentality. It’s gotta drive McDermott nuts. If he would just be more careful with ball control and security instead of always trying to the hero, Buffalo could easily win this game and earn the 2 seed in the AFC. Quote
throttleplate Posted January 8, 2024 Posted January 8, 2024 I ADMIT I WAS WRONG: My apologies to JORDAN LOVE. he is running the offense like a veteran and making nice throws. What a change from the beginning of the season. It makes me wonder what would have been if our previous qb would have just thrown to the open man. This spread the ball offense is a pleasure to watch. Of course we all want a SB but whatever happens this year in the playoffs is gravy. 1 Quote

I agree, just making the post season in an accomplishment for some teams like the Packers. After the Lions finished them off with nothing to play for last year, I wasn’t sure if a similar fate would ensue against the Bears today. Good luck in Dallas. They are 8-0 at home this season, +12 in the turnover margin, and a whopping +172 in point differential. A trip to Detroit would have been easier on paper. Quote

At this point it’s Allen. 4 trips inside the red zone now and 7 points to show for it. They march down the field and turn it over or run out of time. Massive blunder after massive blunder at the most critical times. 1 Quote

Allen not playing well thus far. I imagine a new OC is going to be hired in the offseason, no matter what Brady does....or ...? Quote
