Global Moderator TnRiver46 Posted December 4, 2023 Global Moderator Posted December 4, 2023 @J._Bricker, I know I’ve posted for years here but the man is nearly impossible to bring down. Not super fast but crazy strong 1 Quote

Jennings is your “possession” receiver but he’s as strong as an ox I also just remembered, Jennings played QB in high school and took some wildcat snaps at UT as well Quote
Super User gim Posted December 4, 2023 Super User Posted December 4, 2023 Deebo is also built more like a full back. His rare combination of size and speed is what makes him more of a "swiss army knife" on offense. That one season before they had McCaffrey I think he led the team in rushing and receiving touchdowns. 1 Quote

I think the term Debo used was “Wideback” and he and CMC are interchangeable depending upon the formation and play called. Quote

I’d say security should just do their job (provide protection for players, team and event personnel from non-game related issues) and not go after a player for making a tackle, but why bother. Nobody should have been tossed, walk off the 15 and play on. By the way Philly scored a TD four or five plays later. That was far from a tackle and was illegal unless we are talking the 50s or 60s. I don't think he went after anyone, he just happened to be there as he does security and has for years and was separating players on both sides. I was cool with both getting tossed. Weird chain of events and for sure, San Fran was better last night but that is fine. Eagles are in the middle of a tough stretch without the benefit of extra rest and are still in 1st. 4 hours ago, J Francho said: Looks like the beginning of the end for Filthadephia. BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted December 5, 2023 Author BassResource.com Administrator Posted December 5, 2023 Nineteen penalties on Thursday night, most of them questionable if not downright wrong, and all the talk is about a few flags on SNF. Regardless, officiating has become less consistent over the years, with the refs changing the outcome of games. During the offseason, they must overhaul the rules and make officiating consistent or risk losing fans. Quote
Global Moderator TnRiver46 Posted December 5, 2023 Global Moderator Posted December 5, 2023 I’m sure fanduel and draft kings will be in charge of the referee overhauling…….. 1 Quote

The issue is that the general public doesn’t get to see the Thursday night game. Whereas Sunday Night Football is usually the highest rated program every week on television. So naturally more people might discuss that because it has a lot more viewers. I get Amazon prime on my wife’s tablet but it’s so terribly choppy, blurry, and constantly freezing I’ve essentially given up watching it completely now. But I almost always watch SNF because I’m able to on regular TV. Quote

Super User Bird Posted December 5, 2023 Super User Posted December 5, 2023 It's obvious at this point, SF will be the NFC representative in the SB....... against Baltimore or Miami ???? Maybe 1 Quote

Maybe you think one game makes that a definite? I guess that is why they play the games. Most likely the NFC playoffs will come through philly but again, that is why they play the games....Eagles were due for a loss and are in the middle of probably the roughest stretch of games by any team in the league. Best part is they lost and still woke up in 1st in complete control of their playoff destiny....no other team in the NFC can say that. Quote

The Jags are potentially looking at the 1 or 2 seed in the AFC. Quote

While I think it was time for Pedersen to move on from Philly, even though he won a Super Bowl and had some success, I think he is a great coach. He has a knack for getting players to perform at a high level and be prepared every week. 1 Quote

Ankle injuries can be tricky though. If you try to return too early, you aggrevate it, and then obviously just delays full healing. Quote

That is one reason why San Fran looked very good this past week combined with adding in some key pieces via trade before the deadline. Quote
RipzLipz Posted December 5, 2023 Posted December 5, 2023 Titans punter had a rough game. Looked like he broke his leg when Colts defender blocked a punt. Saw it during the game but haven’t followed up on it. Pretty gruesome looking - don’t watch if stuff like that bothers you. https://youtu.be/sMMrEGyE-KE?si=yg-FIyQmVBNXG0EV Quote
Super User Bird Posted December 6, 2023 Super User Posted December 6, 2023 There is no reason as an NFL football fan to think SF is not a front runner to the SB. Just an unbiased fan of the game. Baltimore or Miami from the AFC, maybe. 1 Quote
RipzLipz Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 Still too early to tell, IMO. Injuries can derail an entire season. However, I doubt the next SB champions will be coming from the NFC South. 2 3 Quote
