Could be in response to everyone “cutting the cord” or following what some collegiate teams or conferences have done. *By the way I do have both streaming services I used as examples. 1 Quote
detroit1 Posted January 13, 2024 Posted January 13, 2024 The NFL will do ANYTHING for a dollar. It makes me sick. I wished this "streaming" crap would backfire, but it won't. Would like to be able to see both games today. 2 Quote
RipzLipz Posted January 13, 2024 Posted January 13, 2024 They’re doing it with men’s NCAA basketball games as well. 1/3 of the Big Ten conference games are on Peacock & they’re some of the traditionally better teams to boot. Utter BS. Why conferences even have networks of their own now is beyond me. Nothing but greed involved. 2 Quote
Eric 26 Posted January 13, 2024 Posted January 13, 2024 @J._Bricker We have Amazon prime in my house but it’s secondary as a streaming service due to buying so much stuff on Amazon and if they require a separate subscription my wife and I agree we’re not going down that road. With that said my 17 year old son has friends coming by tonight and it appears they will be streaming both the UFC fights and the game tonight 😃 Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted January 13, 2024 Super User Posted January 13, 2024 Houston Texans Defense is laying the Smack Down right now on Joe Flacco & the Browns. #dominate A-Jay 2 Quote
Eric 26 Posted January 14, 2024 Posted January 14, 2024 My son’s friends came by and they’re watching downstairs on sling tv and another friend set up my wife and I upstairs 😃 1 Quote

Eric 26 Posted January 14, 2024 Posted January 14, 2024 @J._Bricker I’m out of reactions for the day but man I couldn’t have said it better😉 1 Quote
Super User gim Posted January 14, 2024 Super User Posted January 14, 2024 Demeco Ryans has to be in the conversation for coach of the year. Houston was supposed to win about 4 games this season. Instead they win 10, take their division, and throttle the Browns in the wild card round. Whatever they do from here on out is a bonus for a team that was predicted to be terrible. 3 Quote
VolFan Posted January 14, 2024 Posted January 14, 2024 Houston is definitely a hot team right now - I wouldn’t bet against them except against Baltimore. 1 Quote
Super User Darren. Posted January 14, 2024 Super User Posted January 14, 2024 I did NOT expect a Houston beat down on the Browns. Not on my bingo card at all. A bit surprised, but then again, I've seen Stroud play 2x so far, and been *super* impressed with his play. Quote

VolFan Posted January 14, 2024 Posted January 14, 2024 The Chiefs seem to have this one in the freezer…maybe the Steelers can get frisky against the Bills Quote
Super User Mobasser Posted January 14, 2024 Super User Posted January 14, 2024 My son in law is at the Chiefs game tonight. He got the tickets very cheap, because it's so cold. It's -3 degrees out there. Quote
throttleplate Posted January 14, 2024 Posted January 14, 2024 I was watching it on peacock because my dad is subscribed just for the WWE, the football game was choppy and buffering so i shut off peacock turned on my vpn and watched a free stream of the game with no buffering. 1 Quote
padlin Posted January 14, 2024 Posted January 14, 2024 When my Roku starts buffering and such a power clear of the tv clears it up, as in pulling the plug so it’ll reload. Quote
Global Moderator TnRiver46 Posted January 14, 2024 Global Moderator Posted January 14, 2024 I cut out TV and just listen on the radio nowadays. I’ll go to a restaurant or friends house if there’s something I really want to see YouTube TV sounds like a decent option if you split it with your neighbors but it would suck to pay for TV and not be able to get NFL. RipzLipz Posted January 14, 2024 Posted January 14, 2024 Thank Christ our local NBC affiliate got their contract sorted out right before the game yesterday. How convenient. I noticed Jac Collinsworth was shown as part of the crew covering the KC/MIA game. Add one more punchable face to the list. Note: The above scene always makes me laugh to tears when I see it. Poor McLovin.🤣🤣🤣 2 Quote
Super User gim Posted January 14, 2024 Super User Posted January 14, 2024 This is not just an upset in Dallas, it's a butt whipping. Embarrassing effort on defense by the home team. Jerry Jones does not look happy. Mike McCarthy may be out of a job. 2 Quote
Super User J Francho Posted January 15, 2024 Super User Posted January 15, 2024 It's a horrible mess. Quote
NavyToad Posted January 15, 2024 Posted January 15, 2024 As they used to say, “How ‘bout them Cowboys!” LOL! 4 Quote
Super User gim Posted January 15, 2024 Super User Posted January 15, 2024 Bill Belicheck may be getting a phone call from Jerry Jones in about an hour here. 1 Quote
Super User AlabamaSpothunter Posted January 15, 2024 Super User Posted January 15, 2024 It's easy to blame the coach, as it is to blame the QB, and in this case Dak really lost this game for the Cowboys. Even the balls that didn't get intercepted were awful, the importance of an accurate QB can be seen with a blue-collar guy like Purdy and Niners. Big arm, big legs look good, but timely accurate passing seems to win the big ballgames imho. 1 Quote
