Global Moderator Mike L Posted August 14, 2023 Global Moderator Posted August 14, 2023 Bears at 50-1 for a 3 win team last year which is better than a 1/3 of league! There’s hope in Chi Town Mike 1 Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted August 14, 2023 Super User Posted August 14, 2023 Man, I remember when da Bears were fun to watch! Good luck. 1 Quote
Super User Bird Posted August 14, 2023 Super User Posted August 14, 2023 @gimruis Definitely agree regarding the Jets. Rodgers is at the tail end of his career and actually had some horrific games late last season. I don't consider the Jets contenders because of the addition of Aaron Rodgers. 1 Quote

I was a season ticket holder ($15). Then when I was a Senior in high school, we won our first championship (1970). It took 50 years to win another! 2 Quote

The Bears haven't been fun to watch in my lifetime. Unless you consider the Rex Grossman season when they lost to Peyton and the Colts in the Super Bowl. I think that was the infamous Dennis Green MNF post game rant season "the bears are who we thought they were!" LOL 1 2 Quote
Super User J._Bricker Posted August 14, 2023 Super User Posted August 14, 2023 There’s a Purdy good chance this is the year of a 6th Lombardi Trophy. 1 Quote
NavyToad Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 I’m a Ravens fan and we’re looking good IMO, but as long as Patrick Mahomes is around, my money would have to be on KC. 2 Quote
Global Moderator Mike L Posted August 15, 2023 Global Moderator Posted August 15, 2023 @gimruis That game was played Oct 16 2006 in Arizona. Devin Hester returned a punt for a TD late in the 4th quarter. With under a minute to go Arizona kicker missed a FG then Grossman took a knee and Bears won 24-23. Mike 1 Quote

Super User Bird Posted August 15, 2023 Super User Posted August 15, 2023 The 85 Bears was perhaps the best single season team I've seen in history......the ririgerator Perry. Well, I go back to Larry Csonka and the undefeated Dolphins but that Bears team was more impressive. Imo 9 minutes ago, gimruis said: The Jets also snagged RB Dalvin Cook today on a one year deal. BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted August 20, 2023 Author BassResource.com Administrator Posted August 20, 2023 I realize it's just the preseason, but 2 games in, and I think it's safe to say the Seahawks will NOT be near the bottom of the league in defense again! They've definitely improved. Quote
Texas Flood Posted August 24, 2023 Posted August 24, 2023 This isnt a prediction but a request for my Broncos. Please dont be a laughing stock of the league again. 3 Quote
Super User gim Posted September 5, 2023 Super User Posted September 5, 2023 Who's ready to watch the Lions vs the Chiefs to open the season on Thursday night? This guy. The champs are favored by 6.5 points. I think the kitties will make some noise this season and win the division though. Restore the Roar. Update: Travis Kelce hyper-extended his knee in practice today and may be unavailable on Thursday night. 3 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted September 5, 2023 Global Moderator Posted September 5, 2023 The Chiefs always have a hard time with the Lions it seems and with the drama of Jones, Super Bowl Hangover, potentially no Sneed, Toney, and now Kelce? Lions should be able to run the ball with ease with no Jones in the middle, keeping Mahomes off the field. Control the ball, control the clock, keep it ugly, and I wouldn't be surprised if they pull off an upset. Quote
Super User Mobasser Posted September 5, 2023 Super User Posted September 5, 2023 Even if Kelces out, I'm saying Chiefs over Lions on Thursday night. Should be a good game. And true. Jones is drama Quote

Super User flyfisher Posted September 7, 2023 Super User Posted September 7, 2023 Line for the chiefs game dropped 2 points in some places. That is a huge change for a non QB. All I want is a good game and I have a feeling it will be a good one. Quote

Super User Bird Posted September 7, 2023 Super User Posted September 7, 2023 Lions are suppose to be legit but have to go KC. The line is only KC -5 but likely due to the uncertainty of Kelce. Quote
Global Moderator 12poundbass Posted September 7, 2023 Global Moderator Posted September 7, 2023 The Lions are going to do one of two things 1: lose to KC tonight then going on to make the playoffs and get knocked out the first or second game or 2: Beat KC tonight and ? the bed the rest of the season. 1 2 Quote
