I've generally used the Blue Label leaders and am almost out of 8lb, might have to order some of these Gold Label spools.

Compared to Blue, Gold is harder, thinner, and lower memory.

Nothing wrong with Blue.

I just recommended Gold to a friend asking for a braid-to-leader choice for salt.

It's good stuff. I have gone almost exclusively to using this as leader. It's a little softer than some, has excellent knot strength, and brings in the fish. Its also good for lakes with toothy critters. My only complaint would be that I wish it was more abrasion resistant.

I have used 6, 8, 10 and 12 pound without issue.

I seem to have inadvertently become a pike angler instead of a bass angler. I’ve lost plenty of lures to them. I just got some Gold Label a week so I’ll be trying it out this weekend. Now I’m hoping to catch pike to see how it holds up.

Wait, I inadvertently became a pike angler and now I’m hoping to catch them? I’m so confused! ?
