gone_fishin48 Posted July 16, 2023 Posted July 16, 2023 Hi, I recently bought a fishing kayak and went out on the water to see what I could get. I was tormented the whole time by larger bass surfacing and jumping around me. They love to stay down deeper when it's hot outside, so I'm wondering which jigs are appropriate for fishing along the bottom for bigger bass. Thanks, gone_fishin48 Quote

ironbjorn Posted July 17, 2023 Posted July 17, 2023 The big bass were hitting the top so you want to jig fish them deep? I'm confused 1 Quote
MediumMouthBass Posted July 17, 2023 Posted July 17, 2023 I think what he's saying is when he was out on the kayak they were hitting topwater at that day, but when he's fishing days that are hot the bass are deep on the bottom, not the top at that time. Quote
optimator Posted July 17, 2023 Posted July 17, 2023 After rereading it I think you’re correct. At least I hope so! Quote
