Here are a few pictures of the Largemouth I am pulling out of the lake on the backside of my property.

These 7 fish were all caught within 1 1/2 hours from 7 - 8:30.

They have all been released !!!....Just Wanted a picture of them.

I was using (as I have learned) an Aberdeen Hook with a 7" Powerbait Worm Texas Rigged (learned that too).

Problem is I have been back there during the day and have not caught anything but small ones.

I do not have a boat to get to deeper water...I can really only get to this one spot. (See other post for pictures)

Is there a lure or something that I could use during the day that would get them to bite?

Any and all advice is welcome

well my advice is to be thankful that your even catching some in the day, that can be hard to do sometimes. big ones can be very hard to come by in the day, cuz they are lethargic. that causeway looks like a great spot. just like people would use it as a road, fish will too. they can use it as quick access to different types of structure or cover and even quick access to different depths. that reallly looks like a great spot you got to yourself. a real untouched place. if youre using powerworms with success, then keep doing it! why ruin a good thing right??? but, you could go out and buy some gammakatsu offset EWG hooks in 3/0 size, and pick up a pack of YUM Dingers why your at it, and rig those tesas style, but on the dingers, theres a little hook slot, so you can put the hook point in there so its exposed, but since its in that slot, its still snag free. just cast out those dingers, let them sit for a long time. then just shake your rod tip, reel in the slack that creates, wait a few more minutes, and repeat. there are so many different ways to fish a YUM Dinger. go here http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1121527643 for the motherload of information on this bait and how to use it!

hope im being of help to you! ;) feel free to PM me if you need anything.

You are an incredible help...I love learning new things and to find something that can keep me busy outside while there is no open hunt season welcoming.

I love the stuff about what type of hooks and sizes as well as different baits to use cuz I have no clue and have been looking at alot of posts on here.

The Senko post is great....

yeah. the YUM Dinger is the same thing as a senko, only under a different company. on that senko thread, there is actually a section on senko alternatives, which a yum dinger is.

glad you enjoy the help! ;)

In the evening I am just using a Texas rigged worm and letting it sink then reeling it in slow...If it hits bottom.  :)

I found out how to catch a few in the day......I casted a fake frog looking lure onto the weedbeds and lilly pads and skipped or twitched it across and they would eventually hit it.

I did not realize until someone told me that Bass do not have eyelids so they do not like the sun so will hide under cover during the day.

I am now looking for a 14' Aluminum boat to get out to the actual lake.

My wife caught 2 tonight.....Her first 2 fish ever...now she is excited about it...LOL   ;)

She could not believe how heavy they felt in the water...one she caught was just about 3 lbs....

Now I just have to get her to learn to get them off the hook....cuz my thumb looks like I ran it over a belt sander.  :)

As someone mentioned earlier....I am going to order a Spro Bronzeye Frog to use during the day.

I am glad I have my own Business....cuz I am not gonna get any work done for a while....

ive found that because of the hook placement on those floating hollow-bodied frogs (bronzeye) that they dont get very good hookups. you could try a soft plastic frog, and rig it texas style. the frogs that are perfect for this are zoom horney toads.

Those are at my local Canadian Tire....I was looking at them the other day.

Should I put a weight on them or just toss them onto the lillies and weeds weightless ?

Thanks

definitley go weightless. if the weeds and stuff will support it, use a stop and go retreive, if it will fall when you stop, then just reel it back at a pace where it will stay up top the whole time.

Here are a couple of pictures of my wife and I with a couple of our catches tonight.

I am very surprised my wife actually enjoys it.....If she could find a way to Hunt and Release I am sure I would have a new Hunting Partner.  ;)

If my wife sees that I posted a picture of her looking like that I am gonna get in SH_T !!!  LOL   :)

I ordered a digital scal online so I have no idea of weight...
