Wow. Jury’s still out I’m sure. I have a hissy fit buying an $8 bag of senkos and I’m immune to my bait monkey so I’m good.

My wow is coming from KK’s boldness to try to get a piece of the high end reel market from Shimano and Daiwa. Ballsy.  ??

“Didja catch any bass yesterday?”

”Nah. I was too busy trying to see if I could beat my best cast by 0.5’ and dropped my phone in the lake”

”Ouch! Your phone? That’s terrible!”

”I know! I lost all my excellent casting statistics and data! Now how can I catch bass now?”

”Umm-m-m…I thought you didn’t catch any?”  ?

And the app sells your fishing stats to the highest bidder

You kind of had to know the Bait Monkey was involved.

When I finally took my palm off my face I saw that they took the T wing level wind and made it even dumber. That took some effort.

Yeah that design of the level wind is  absolutely rediculous and I just noticed the charging port..Wow! Who’d a thunk it …guess you charge it with your phone at night ?

I used to have 3 DC reels, now I only have 1 and I rarely use the darn thing. MGL reels are way better 99 percent of the time!

This took some effort and is innovative to say the least.  I’m really surprised to see this from KastKing.   Does this mean they do some of their own engineering or did their Chinese manufacturer approach them with the idea after everyone else turned them down?

Signed on this morning and this is the first thing I read.

Should have seen this one coming I guess.

Was only a matter of time.

Clearly not my style but the new kids on the block

are probably going to buy these things.

But "Intelligently Changing the way I fish" ?

C'Mon man.

The Kastking smart device (watch) better be water proof.

That whole arm will be in the drink a lot

trying to fish out all the phones that go swimming.

No too sure about that line guide thingamajig either.

Can't believe it doesn't tie an FG knot though.

Nice price point too.

Wow.

ngl the line guide rotating seems kinda cool and may serve a functional purpose although I doubt the worm gear has tolerances tight enough for that design to significantly improve line lay
