SHE RETIRES IN AUGUST!!! she is training her replacement. "K". K is delightful. very sweet, and nice. all of us supervisors agreed to bring in an awesome bottle of tequila to celebrate her retirement. (argh..just found out she pushed it back to Sept) 2 Quote

They usually start out nice, k---s some rear ends, maybe take a liking to some turds but dislike to others, you just have to figure out which box she puts you in. And if there is anything I learned from the time when I had co-workers, it’s that the void will inevitably be filled by another toxic narcissist. It seems to be the only way. Hopefully it works out differently for you because addition by subtraction in the workplace can be a huge boost of morale. That is until the chaff is replaced by more chaff. Quote

Super User slonezp Posted July 13, 2023 Super User Posted July 13, 2023 I have 3 office girls at my disposal although they don't see it that way. I get it, they believe their job is as important as mine. I rely on them heavily but nothing they do is anything I can't do. My job is to make the company money and their job is to help me do that. As toxic as they may or may not be, I can adapt and make them feel they are important. It amazes me as to how different the 3 women I rely on are all polar opposites of anything sane. If I could combine all 3 women into one, she would be the perfect bride. The 3 women separated are a nightmare. Quote

I am not trying to be a jerk towards you, i just find this interesting because me myself whenever i was in charge from the military to civilian life i always thought i was the sane one and everyone else was crazy, this still applies today. 1 1 Quote
