i really have to pause and carefully read the specs on a reel sold in Japan.    AsianPortal appears to be sold out.  i'll keep searching after my mid morning meetings.

but to be clear, this is the 7:1 ratio one right?  right handed?

it is this reel or the Shimano Bantam.  i am not kidding myself.  i will own both by Christmas, i am sure.  i like to answer my own question "bantam vs Zillion?" anyways.  :D

No, the P is slowest....5.5

You want the H model  ZILLION SV TW 21 ZILLION SV TW 1000H RIGHT (digitaka.com)

Word of caution, if you buy a new Zillion, either model....you're going to wish every single reel you fish with was one.    They ruined me, the drags, the smoothness, the price, everything, truly perfect Bass reels.

I do love my zillion, but I love my Met also.  Its a hard choice between them.  I also love my chronarch MGL which is a little lighter than either and on one of my lighter rods.

Bantam easily. I own both and don't really like the zillion, but I am very much in the minority on that. The Bantam is absolutely perfect imo, I like it better than the metanium and the steez A2

I think I'm with you, though it's close.  Real close.

Love all these, my bantam, and my zillion hd also!

You need to TRY a zillion with a Daiwa 1016 ( or 1012 ) spool and it’s THAT much better !! Way more “free” feeling - and you can keep the breaks considerably lower also

I swapped spools with my Steez SV TW and the Steez is better with the SV BOOST and the Zillion is way better with the 1016 ( or 1012 for lighter baits )

i have 4 zillions and I don’t have the SV BOOST spool in any of them anymore

it pretty much never backlashes

Where can I find one of these? Does it work on a tatula sv?

Couple of questions, Dan.  Are you using the 1016 or 1012 SV spool or just a RCSB 1016 or 1012 spool? Any source of supply that you've found to be better?

killing me, Smalls..killing me.

i could literally flip a coin at this point.   if lean towards Shimano, for sure.

Nope.

Is there one that does? I was thinking the other day I'd like to turn my SV into a semi bfs reel. Would like to be able to cast down to ~5g or so

I'm a bantam fan, it's my favorite reel.  I've only held an x-bites, but I think the bantam is unnecessarily heavy for that rod.  Shimano, I'd go Met.  Diawa, Zillion or Alphas.  I know it's only 1.5oz, but I'm a sucker for that good balance.

To add to the confusion.... I like the Metanium for jigs and the Zillion for Texas rigged soft plastic.  For jigs, I like the way the Metanium feels in the 8.x:1 gear ratio plus I like the larger stock handle. With the Zillion, it just a great all around reel.

I do have the older Bantam and I like it. I have it on the P5 Super Destroyer.  I also added a larger Gomexus handle. It's my sort of do all setup.

here’s one that I bought - 2 of mine came out of my Steez SV TW that I swapped. I bought these from Asian Portal Fishing - although I’ve just ordered another one from Amazon… Same price and nowhere near as fast

3 of mine are the 1016 - one is a 1012 which came in one of my Steez and that’s actually what I’ve ordered through Amazon. I have the 1012 in a zillion on my 842c which I throw my lightest stuff on

I was thinking about getting the 1000S spool for my zillion but now I'm thinking about trying the 1012 instead.

I don't know about that. I love mine, but they are small reels. I love my tat sv's just as much for many techniques.

Perhaps @Tatulatard will chime in. He's the maven on aftermarket Tatula platform spools and such.
