Pinnacle platnium plus

the pinnacle platnium was only the 2nd baitcasting reel that I have bought and I got to say I love it. I bought it for $40 dollars which for what I have recieved I think that is amazing price. I brought it home put it on my 7 foot medium heavy rod and spooled it up with 17# test berkley trilene put a half ounce bullet sinker on it and was making some of the farthest and most accurate cast I have ever done. I would give this reel a 4.5 out of 5 the only reason a 4.5 is that a couple of cast I had to pull the spool engage button up. As a entry level fisherman I believe I made a good choice in buying this reel and I plan on buying more pinnacle products.

Thanks for recent post.  We're please to hear that your new Pinnacle baitcaster is serving you well.  For the money, it's hard to beat the quality and performance of the Platinum Plus.  You can expect continued smoothness and reliability over the long haul.
