The loss did not impact Coach Johnson because: 1. He knew every baseball game is a new venture, not like football or basketball where the teams do the same thing, so the LSU team just forgot about the loss in the second game. 2. Coach Johnson used the lower rated bull-pen pitchers, keeping the higher bull-pen rated pitchers ready to step in. He even allowed Skeens to dress out, knowing that he would not want to pitch the guy unless absolutly necessary. 3. Coach Johnson supposedly had photos of the bull-pen pitchers taken while they were pitching for their family photos to go along with the starters. A great jesture to the guys who did not get into the game. Don't you just love baseball. A goat one night and a hero the next. 1 Quote
