So I'm finally ready to pull the trigger and buy a Ford Bronco Sport but I only want in in one color (Cactus Gray) and it must have the tow package, convenience package, and the 360 Assist+.

So I find two cars that match at the same dealership, but they are tagged as currently in use Demos and won't be available for purchase until August and they won't sell me one of them. I don't understand? So you don't want my $40k? Why not? I'm ready to buy RIGHT NOW.

I don't get it.

It's probably the sales manager and finance manager who are using them...you don't take 'company cars' away from upper management.

About 15 years ago my wife's Escape had the wheels stolen one night in our driveway. (detroit) Her dealer had about 20 escapes in their back lot with the same wheels. You'd think that they would use a set of those and get us out in a day. You, my friend, would be wrong. We had to order the wheels which took three weeks, and since we both worked, she had to rent a car. Thats just messed up.

I buying a GMC Yukon several years ago and was sitting at the salesman’s desk filling out my check when he stopped me. Seems they had a call from someone who wanted it and was willing to finance it. They make more from GMAC if it’s financed than if they sell it for cash. They sent me on my way saying they would call me if the other deal fell through. I told them not to bother. The guy called me the next day trying to get me to come back to buy it. I have bought 3 GMCs since then from other dealers.

When I bought my F150, I got an extra $750 off if I financed through Ford credit at about 4% higher rate than I could get from a bank. I didn’t care about the rate as I paid off the loan within days of driving it home. You never tell the dealer you are paying cash.

I have a buddy that just did this very thing. They would give him an extra $1500 off if he financed thru them. Did that, then the next Monday paid it off.
