Thanks for the recommendation. I have made several purchases from that vendor unfortunately he doesn't carry that pattern.

Although a sweet looking bait, seems most of the new stock of 78 smallmouth pattern is on back order.  Perhaps consider having a few new baits of another color "repainted".

I've had a few baits done.  First ones were by Casey Sobczak (current owner of 6th sense Fishing) but 15 plus years ago, he started out custom baiting baits.  Did and still does great work.

There are plenty of custom hand painting vendors to choose from.

Might cost a bit more but in the long run we all know how valuable a bait we have confidence in can be.

Good communication with the painter is key to getting what you want.

If you have one left, sending in one of the smallmouth pattern baits as an "example"

might be a solid plan.

There's more and I haven't used these but Check out a few here.

Possibly Trey Harpel of THKustoms could set you up with a custom repaint in that color. The dude has serious chops.

I searched yesterday all my usual sites for JDM and came up blank. If you would have posted a couple months ago I had 4 that I sold $10 each. Now I only have the one bait I bought from Ebay Japan  15 years ago for my personal collection.  I will keep an eye out and let you know if I find one.

I would do the custom paint route as Ajay mentioned.

I have some baits I had custom painted ( not any pointers) as I couldn’t find the pattern I wanted.
