Marylandbasser Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 I like Gary's senkos and i have caught a lot of fish on them. So i have heard a lot about creature baits and this one caught my eye. How would you fish this and around what? I have never fished a creature bait and I thought i would try so any replies would be a big help. Quote
The_Natural Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 The Flappin' Hog is definitely a pitching bait. Pitch it to anything that looks fishy Quote
The_Natural Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 I just arrived in Tulsa tonight due to a death in the family, and I went to academy to blow off steam. I wrote off the flappin' hog because it was expensive (almost $1 a bait online), and it only looked 'pretty decent' from pics. Weeell...Academy got a shipment of flappin' Hogs in, and they look really awesome in person...heavy and soft...we're talking Senko plastic loaded with salt. The kicker? $4.19 a pack! I'm totally in at that price after checking them out in person. I'll post up when I try them out. The GY creature never really did anything for me, but the flappin' hog is an intimidatingly good looking bait! Quote
Super User Raul Posted August 23, 2007 Super User Posted August 23, 2007 Like Natural, I just purchased a couple of bags at Academy, they look real good, soft but not super soft on the body and heavy. BTW, not all Academy stores have them, I went to two stores in MacAllen, the one near Mission didn 't have them in stock. :-? Quote
