Super User J Francho Posted June 13, 2023 Super User Posted June 13, 2023 It means fish a goby. We have Ayu here, but it's a killer pattern. Quote

Super User J Francho Posted June 13, 2023 Super User Posted June 13, 2023 That's the point. They'll all get bit anyway if you present them correctly at the right depth in the right spot at the right time. 1 Quote
GoneFishingLTN Posted June 13, 2023 Author Posted June 13, 2023 I have tons of swimbaits but nothing like a goby I do have keitechs etc what length do you think would be a good start? Quote
Obi_Wan Posted June 14, 2023 Posted June 14, 2023 Storm makes a pre-rigged goby swimbait. Caught several smallmouth and a few walleye on one in Ontario. Its a good color with good action. I'd fish a goby bait just to see what happens. Quote

If you really wanna mimic one, I'd say the Dark Sleeper or a tube is a good place to start. Quote
JediAmoeba Posted June 14, 2023 Posted June 14, 2023 Gobies don't have swimbladders so they always relate to the bottom. 1 Quote
Pat Brown Posted June 14, 2023 Posted June 14, 2023 The megabass dark sleeper is probably what you want. It is a dead ringer for a goby and people say they work really well dragged on the bottom and hopped along like a jig. Quote
