PawleysDude Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 I’ve been running a Lowrance Hook Reveal DF for several months and generally pleased with it. A friend has an identical unit and offered to share some of his waypoints with me. He exported them up to an SD card and I used the import function to bring them into my unit. The import process showed the correct numbers of waypoints imported, but none of them show up in my list of waypoints. I’ve tried restarting the DF, repeating the process with a different card, etc but nothing helped. His export file was a .usr file version 6, which is the same file type I use to backup waypoints. I would love to have those waypoints but don’t know what to try next. Any suggestions or guesses? Thanks for your help. Quote

Super User gim Posted June 5, 2023 Super User Posted June 5, 2023 Sometimes they are named very oddly. I have done this about a dozen times with various Lowrance units over years and when they import into the new unit, they have weird names. They aren't going to be named how they were in the previous unit. Make sure you scroll through all the waypoints in the new unit. They should be in there, but they could be hiding from you. Quote
