Haven't got pooped on, but have had my Taco Bell wrapper get blasted by poop from the sky assassins while the burrito sat out once. Couldn't finish it, too close for comfort of the splash zone.

I’ve been pooped on several times.  The worst was early in the morning and running down an Everglades canal, lined by big trees on both sides.  The boat was doing about 50 mph and suddenly I had about 20 water birds rise up and take off in the same direction I was going.  They were right in front of my boat, and I was gaining on them.   Suddenly a big crane emptied his bowls right in front of the boat, and about 10 feet in the air.  It was like a crop duster spraying  a field.  Me and the boat were covered.  I don’t run them down anymore.  I slow down quickly, I learned my lesson that morning.  It was a crappy morning!

Got hit on the hat by a cliff swallow yesterday at Barren River.

Those are the birds that make the mud nests under bridges.

Is the fishing any good on the Barren River?  It’s not far away but I’ve never heard anything about the fishing there.
